Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO) at publicaccess.courts.state.mn.us covers all 87 Minnesota counties, including Stearns. You can search by person name, business name, attorney name, case number, or citation number. The system shows case type, filing date, party names, scheduled hearings, and status. Basic case data is free. Viewing full court documents costs $8 per document. Documents filed before July 1, 2015 have limited availability in the online system.
At the courthouse, go to Room 111 at 705 Courthouse Square. The public access terminal on the court floor connects to the same MCRO database and is free to use. Staff can also pull case files and assist with searches. Bring a party name or case number to speed things up.
