Kittson County District Court

The Kittson County District Court is on the upper level of the Kittson County Courthouse at 410 South 5th Street in Hallock. Court Administrator Pamala Shaw runs the office. Shaw also serves Lake of the Woods County. Free surface lot and on-street parking are available near the courthouse. The court is part of the Ninth Judicial District, which covers a broad region of northern Minnesota.

The Court Administrator's office maintains case records for civil, family, probate, traffic, criminal, juvenile, and conciliation cases filed in Kittson County. Staff handle jury management too. Jurors are available to the court for a period of four months and are notified by mail when their service is needed.

A self-help workstation with a computer and direct-dial phone is available to the public in the law library at the courthouse. The law library is open to the public during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
