Jackson County District Court

The Jackson County District Court is located at 405 Fourth Street in Jackson. Court Administrator Kayla McKinney leads the office, which was appointed to that role in October 2022. The court is part of the Fifth Judicial District, which covers 15 counties in southern and southwestern Minnesota: Blue Earth, Brown, Cottonwood, Faribault, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Martin, Murray, Nicollet, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Rock, and Watonwan. The district has 17 judges serving more than 287,000 citizens.
